What Color Scheme options do you offer for the tent decor?

We specialize in delivering and setting up luxury glamping tents, complete with a variety of beautiful color decor options. While we don't offer personalized thematic decorations like rose petals or other specific styling, our customers love adding their own unique touches! Our wide selection of color choices allows you to easily make the space truly your own, reflecting your personal style or event theme.

We ONLY deliver on Fridays and Sundays. We arrive to set up and take down Glamping Experiences between 8am and 6pm on Fridays and Sundays. Set up and take down can take up to 2 hours for each tent.

On your Booking Inquiry & Agreement Form, you will have the opportunity to choose your bed combination and add-on additional beds (options: 1 queen, 2 queen, 4 twin, Glamp Lounge, Wedding Suite, 5-10 Memory Foam Floor Mattresses, or Wedding Party Lounge/Getting Ready Room), add-on a DVD projector, add-on an air conditioner, add-on a telescope with stargazing guide, choose a color combination for your décor, list a letter board message, and choose t-shirt size for your FREE Happy Glamper t-shirt.

Do I need to be present during set up and then again during tear down? And how long does it take?

We ONLY deliver on Fridays and Sundays. We arrive to set up and take down Glamping Experiences between 8am and 6pm on Fridays and Sundays. Set up and take down can take up to 2 hours for each tent. If it is raining, it may take a little longer in an effort to not get the rental items wet or muddy.

You do not need to be present during set up and take down, but I will need an email or text message stating that we have permission to be on your property and to plug in to the nearest outdoor electrical outlet. It would also be helpful to text me a photo or short video of the spot you would like the tent and to show me which electrical outlet we can plug in to.

Can I book during the week or does it have to be on a weekend?

Due to our full-time careers, we are ONLY able to set up and take down glamping experiences on Fridays and Sundays.

To accommodate guests, I may consider reservations on other days if two or more tents are booked. Please inquire about availability for dates outside of Fridays and Sundays.

Do you have to set up on grass and how much space do you need?

Yes, the canvas bell tent does need to be secured to the ground with tent stakes (there are 13-16 ground-sheet stakes and 12-14 guy line stakes depending on which tent you book). The best way to secure the tent to the ground is on a LEVEL grassy area or mostly grassy area. We cannot set up on hard surfaces, hay, straw, sand, or new sod. We also do not set up on top of pet poop piles or any other things that will damage our tents.


The 210 sq ft tent has a 16 ft diameter and the guy lines go out at least 4 ft each, so Aurora Lights will need at least a 24 ft x 24 ft LEVEL grassy or mostly grassy area to set up the canvas bell tent.


The 415 sq ft tent has a 23 ft diameter and the guy lines go out at least 4 ft each, so Aurora Lights will need at least a 31 ft x 31 ft LEVEL grassy or mostly grassy area to set up the canvas bell tent.

What is your Cancellation and Refund Policy?

REFUND and CANCELLATION POLICY

To confirm your reservation with Aurora Lights Glamping, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total reservation cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the first day of your reservation.

Cancellation and Rescheduling:

The 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations:
If you cancel your reservation at any time after booking, the 50% non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.
Rescheduling:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. You may reschedule your reservation at any time, subject to availability. If the current reservation is within 14 days of arrival, a rescheduling fee of $75 will apply.
Aurora Lights Glamping Rescheduling:
In the event that Aurora Lights Glamping must reschedule your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather or safety concerns, we will offer to reschedule your reservation to a mutually agreeable date, subject to availability.
If you choose not to reschedule, you will receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the 50% non-refundable deposit.
Agreement:

By making a reservation with Aurora Lights Glamping, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Gift Certificate sales are final and cannot be returned for a refund.

What if there is inclement weather?

Our tents are waterproof and can withstand up to 40 MPH winds. If we are unable to set up due to torrential down pour or the winds will be near 30-40 MPH during your booking, we will contact you to reschedule your reservation.

In the event that Aurora Lights Glamping must reschedule your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather or safety concerns, we will offer to reschedule your reservation to a mutually agreeable date, subject to availability.
If you choose not to reschedule, you will receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the 50% non-refundable deposit.

Does Aurora Lights provide DVD’s for the DVD Projector?

No, Aurora Lights does not provide DVD’s for the DVD Projector, but they can be rented from your local library or companies such as Redbox and Netflix.

Are pets allowed in the Glamping Tents?

Please refrain from allowing pets in, or around, the Aurora Lights Glamping tents and equipment. My future customers may have pet allergies. Pet dander and urine are not easily cleaned out of these canvas bell tents.

I trust I will not need to collect a security deposit from my customers, but please keep in mind that a CLEANING FEE WILL APPLY, and invoiced separately, in the event there is evidence of smoking or pets in, or around, the Aurora Lights tents and equipment. The cleaning fee is a minimum of $280-$500 per tent. If a tent is heavily damaged and needs to be replaced due to smoke and/or pet damage, an invoice for the cost of the tent ($1200-$2200) will be sent to you.

How many people fit in a tent?

When you book a Glamping Experience, you get to choose your bed combination or choose a Glamp Lounge!

Here are your options:

210 square foot bell tent (5m)

1 Queen Bed (Sleeps 2)
2 Queen Beds (Sleeps 4)
4 Twin Beds (Sleeps 4) - Moon Chairs are NOT included with this set up (they will not fit comfortably)
Glamp Lounge with 25+ Oversized Floor Pillows and 4 Moon Chairs (no beds)
Wedding Suite (1 Queen Bed)

415 square foot bell tent (7m)

5-10 Memory Foam Floor Mattresses (Sleeps 5-10)
Wedding Party Lounge / Getting Ready Room (Room for 12+)

If you would like to fit more people in a tent and don't mind sleeping on the tent floor, I would recommend booking the Glamp Lounge, Glamp Lounge XL, or the Naked Tent with Lighting. These set ups can comfortably fit 8 campers in the 210 sq ft tents and 16 campers in the 415 sq ft tent in sleeping bags.

Do you use a generator for electricity?

Glamping wouldn't be glamping with a loud generator in the vicinity and for that reason, Aurora Lights Glamping does need to hook into the homeowner's outdoor electrical outlet to power the DVD projector and the portable air conditioner. Aurora Lights provides a 100ft 12/3 SJTW outdoor, heavy duty 3-prong extension cord for each tent. Each extension cord (1 per tent) will need its own outlet due to the high-power draw of the portable air conditioner. The extension cords cannot be daisy-chained together or the air conditioners will automatically shut off.

Do you set up Glamping Experiences anywhere else besides backyards?

We can set up Glamping Experiences in private backyards and private venues.

The only variation that can be set up at a public venue, such as a campground, is the Naked Tent with Lighting.

What are the terms of the Rental Agreement and will I receive an invoice?

On the Booking Inquiry & Agreement Form, you will be able to view and agree to the Rental Terms and Conditions. After booking, your Rental Agreement will be emailed to you with a copy of your invoice.

What are the differences between the Glamping Oasis, Glamp Lounge, and the Naked Tent with Lighting?
